Claude Code May–August 2026 weekly limits promotion

Anthropic announced a limited-time promotion that increases weekly usage limits in Claude Code by 50% for eligible plans. The promotion runs from May 13, 2026 to August 31, 2026, and is available to Pro, Max, and Team plan subscribers as well as legacy seat-based users on Enterprise plans. Free plans and consumption-based Enterprise seats are excluded.

The increased weekly limit applies to Claude Code only, across the CLI, IDE extensions, desktop, and web. Usage limits for other Claude products, including Claude web, desktop, mobile, and Claude Cowork, are unchanged. The promotion does not affect 5-hour usage limits, which remain as before.

Eligible users need to take no action; the higher weekly limit is automatically applied to their account. They can run /usage in the CLI to see the updated limits. When the promotion ends on August 31, 2026, weekly usage limits in Claude Code return to their standard levels, with no change to plan or billing.

The promotion has no cash value, is not transferable, may not be combined with other offers, and is valid through August 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT. It applies only to the specified plans and excludes Free plans and consumption-based Enterprise seats.
