Generative AI is advancing faster than traditional teaching methods, so Google and Kaggle created a new approach to learning these technologies. Since their first "5 Day Intensive" course in 2024, more than 2 million learners and developers have participated in the multimodal, no-cost courses.

The latest collaboration, the 5-Day AI Agents: Intensive Vibe Coding Course with Google, had over 353,000 registered participants. It explored vibe coding—programming through natural language—and covered the entire lifecycle of designing, securing, and deploying production-grade AI agents in the cloud. Hundreds of thousands of learners collaborated in real time across codelabs and technical whitepapers, with over 392,000 active participants on Kaggle's Discord swapping code, debugging, and forming study groups.

The capstone projects brought the week's learning into action: over 6,000 project submissions came from more than 12,000 active participants. Notable projects include Palimpsest, a historical manuscript transcription pipeline, and Project ARIES, a space-weather research system. The caliber of submissions made selecting top entries difficult; all winning teams are showcased on the website.

The course content remains available as a self-paced Kaggle Learn guide for those who missed the live event in June, and the partnership between Google and Kaggle will continue, with ongoing competitions and Discord community engagement.
